Dr. Stephen H. Mandy is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami and a practicing physician at South Beach Dermatology. He is the past President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Founder and past President and of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and has been the recipient of numerous medical awards including: Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Smith Reed Russell Medical Honor Society, and the AMA Physicians Recognition Award.
Dr. Mandy has authored numerous articles that have been published in a variety of medical and dermatologic journals and textbooks. He has lectured domestically and internationally for various dermatological societies.
Dr. Mandy completed his undergraduate studies and received his medical degree from George Washington University, Washington DC. He performed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Florida and a residency in Ob-Gyn at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He performed a residency in dermatology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and the University of Miami. He then performed military service as a Major in the U.S. Air Force as staff dermatologist at Kessler Air Force Base.
Besides being a premier cosmetic dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon it is Dr. Mandy is an accomplished artist, sculptor and photographer, lifelong equestrian, scuba diver, karate teacher and skier.
